Birth support
Kira currently provides tailored birth support to 3–5 families each year.
After more than a decade working with children and families, alongside eight years of therapeutic study and training, it has become increasingly clear to me that birth is an essential threshold in shaping our collective future.
I work with women and families who are willing to dive deeply into the birth portal — as a profound transition into motherhood, parenthood and new life.
My approach to birth is devotional.
Devotion to the mother.
Devotion to the transition.
Devotion to the life choosing to arrive in our presence.
I see birth as a ceremonial threshold — a place where we are invited into greater love, presence and truth. My role is to walk beside you and your family as you approach this threshold, creating the space, safety and support needed for you to meet your own experience as deeply as possible.
I bring together my background in family therapy, training in Somatic Psychotherapy, and my doula training through Celebration of Birth. Alongside this therapeutic and practical foundation, I bring my own spiritual practice and a deep reverence for the transformative nature of birth.
This is not about controlling the birth experience or creating a particular outcome. It is about preparing the ground, tending to the mother, listening deeply and meeting whatever arises with presence.
I work with the whole family — body, emotions, relationships, nervous system and spirit — supporting you to enter the birth portal with greater trust in yourself and in the unfolding of this extraordinary transition.
To me, birth is an invitation into love and truth. And it is an honour to walk beside a family as they cross that threshold.
